In June 2001 John and I moved from the city to our lovely new home on Bribie Island, population about 19,000, about one
hour north by road from Brisbane in Queensland, Australia.
We love the easy going relaxed lifestyle here and have made
many new friends. We have joined a local club where we go for meals, entertainment and relaxation and both enjoy playing the
poker machines and so far we are winning !!! Apart from that we have many interests to keep us out of mischief.
I am "into" folk art and really get a lot of enjoyment out of painting items for home and as gifts. John loves
old cars and anything to do with motors, the more grease the better he likes it. At the moment is helping a friend
restore an old Vauxhall Vagabond which should be on the road very soon.
Here in Queensland Australia we are blessed
with blue skies and sunny days most of the year round, we have the added advantage at our home of being able to enjoy
these perfect summer days in or around the pool. We love to entertain and have many afternoon or evening bar-b-ques in the
company of family and friends, just dont forget the AeroGard !!!
